We did like the downtown location, which was convenient and walkable. Parking was free and off the street. The bed was comfortable, and the room clean and updated somewhat for an older property. Their "normal " pricing would have been more than we think reasonable for the property, but our Booking price was reasonable.

We stayed in a cabin. We were greeted by a mama and two baby deer. While they may not have been formal hotel employees, they certainly added to the experience. Later they left, and two large wild turkeys took their place. The cabin was clean and comfortable - a perfect place for a romantic weekend.

The bed itself was the most comfortable of a trip that had us in 4 different hotels. The location on the main street and so close to all of the restaurants and shops was the best point, especially for the cost relative to some of the other places in the area.

This was the perfect location to go out on a lake cruise, close to nightlife, and the gal working at the front desk went above and beyond she had excellent customer service! We will definitely stay there again for a girls weekend !
